Competition to participate in the School of International and European Criminal Law

The Institute of Comparative and Transnational Criminal Law at TSU's Faculty of Law, in collaboration with Humboldt University of Berlin, Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, Philipps University of Marburg, and the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University, is thrilled to announce a competition for participation in the School of International and European Criminal Law, supported by funding from the Volkswagen Science Foundation.

 

This program offers third and fourth-year undergraduate and master's degree students from law faculties across various universities a unique opportunity to engage in a comprehensive lecture series on international and European criminal law, taught by esteemed Georgian and German professors and experts.

 

Selection for the program is competitive, with the Volkswagen Science Foundation covering all associated costs. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by completing the registration form at https://forms.gle/sZk2h7k8JWTcPzL29

 

The program will be conducted in Georgian and English, requiring participants to have at least a B2.1 level proficiency in English. Full documentation is available via the registration link.

 

Selection will occur in two phases:

1. Initial screening based on application submissions.

2. The top candidates will be interviewed in English using Zoom by the selection committee at the end of February 2024.

 

16 students will be selected to participate in the International and European Criminal Law School.

Successful participants of the School of International and European Criminal Law will be awarded certificates.
